Now introducing new plastic and PEVA ponchos made from ‘OxoBiodegradableTM’ plastics incorporating ‘EPI’ totally degradable plastic additives (TDPA) that are on the cutting edge of environmentally friendly products. TDPA are blended into the plastic (LDPE) resins during production to render the plastic with special degradation properties without impacting on productivity or product integrity and performance.

These ponchos are durable enough to be used, reused and then recycled. And best of all if they do end up in land fi ll sites, this plastic will undergo biodegradation over time and much more rapidly than ordinary plastic. In the presence of UV sunlight, moisture, heat, micro organisms, oxygen and soil, this plastic will ultimately biodegrade and will convert into water, carbon dioxide, mineral salt and biomass. Like a fallen leaf it will disappear over time and leave no harmful residue in the soil.
